All of Mike's DVDs that I have watched I back 100%.  They are better than your average training DVD that just covers a bit of gym time and that's about all.

As for what Dave is saying, he may be oversimplifying things a little, but I think he is talking about cutting.  Would it not be possible for a bodybuilder to diet strictly on the 6-7 foods that Dave listed?

Also, keep in mind while I can understand why it would not be a great idea to risk your health for no monetary compensation in the amateur ranks, Dave actually has a very successful business which is largely the result of his competitive background.  So it's not like he got absolutely nothing out of his sacrifice.  Obviously, being a bodybuilder helped his credibility to build his business up to a high level [over six figures annually].  He was also very close to winning his pro-card in 2007.  Dave could probably win the 50+ Masters when he gets there but I don't really see a point.  To be honest, I think Dave just wanted to turn pro because he was so close and it was sort of a personal thing for him.  Just like I wanted to place a little higher at my strongman contest this weekend, but in hindsight, who cares?  I tried my best and I hope Dave feels the same way about himself.

He charges $500 for advice and part of his advice is for his clients to buy $1000 worth of gear off him every month.

Another guido on drugs, looking...so so.
These "hardcore" bbers are nothing without the drug use.
Wait, nothing with the drug use.

I encourage this behavior though.  Without guys on gear, I'd have absolutely nothing to shoot for, every gym outing.
Up your dose Warriors!!

Is there a consensus on a weekly tuna consumption limit?

Listen to the show. They talk about that.
