1. Socialist health care doesn't work, look at the states that have it, they're going broke, look at health care quality of the VA, it sucks, look at medicare and the government outlets for "health care"....they're broke and they suck.

2. You think the getting in more debt to get out of debt is a good thing? All you do is dig yourself a debt hole deeper and deeper, if you run your own finances like that chances are you'll be burdened (yes, debt is a burden) for the rest of your life. Our kids are fucked.

3. The "Wealthy Elite"? What you wouldn't give to be one of "them". Ever been hired by a poor person? You can tax the "wealthy elite" 1000% and it still wouldn't make a dent or even be blip on a radar screen to make the hole the dems put us in. Bashing the "wealthy elite" is just another way of saying "I'm too fucking lazy and don't have the drive so I'll just get a 'regular' job and stay with the status quo and take money from the people who have the will and drive to succeed".......think about that Howard!!

1. Fact, aporx 1/3 of all health INs $$ goes to profits NOT the doctors or hospitals or medicine, but profits for the investors.

2. BOTH parties are guilty of debt, but the republicans spend a big chunk going to wars we didn't need to fight like Iraq, now Obama is stuck in the Afghan quagmire. Want less debt, get out of all the world conflicts and be USA first.

3. YUP< the wealthy elites make the rules regardless of who is in power. I am a HS science teacher doing the best I can to make a living. I will never be wealthy but I did the best I could with what I had to work with. I also served active duty in the US marines.
The wealthy elite can't exist without a strong middle class to work for them and provide millitary,police, fire etc

I know who I am and what class I represent , so when it comes time to vote, I vote my economic interest first as we all should.
If you want to vote for higher health costs, college tuition and less taxes for the upper crust , keep voting GOP. I am with the reg guys in the unions and workplace trying to get by and make a daily living.

theres a definite need for us troops/intelligence/redcross/humanitarian efforts all across the world. we cant make the world a utopia overnight, but we can do quite a bit to fight world hunger, famine, prevent genocide, oppression, etc. yes, us tax dollars are taken at gun point, and are supposed to be used for the defense of the citizens basic rights, and for vital public services; not necessarily aiding countries around the world. so the political principle involved here is that the people recieving the aid dont pay into the system, and dont reside within the systems boundaries. its hard to know where to draw the line when it comes to involvement in foreign affairs.

If someone knows scripture well it's not all that difficult to pull out certain verses and use them out of context in a way to justify whatever the agenda happens to be.
