How on earth can human knees handle that??

it's actually common for amateur weightlifters to squat like this

some coaches will say it's a good thing, as you master the bar rebound, essential for cleaning


i think it's pretty mad, but used to do this


the lower back buckles and absorbs and thus negates most positive effects you could get from bar rebound


in the end who really knows

touch wood and go hard

Yes, i can understand the psychosomatic pain, but not that the knees suddenly would blow out just by watching.

i hade an iron mind video tape of bulgarian weightlifting training centre


a lot of them squatted with absolute control slowly down, sometimes even pausing casually in the hole with a big stack of weight on the bar

i think this is the way to go

but a lot of elite lifters do squat like this fat powerbombing guy pat mendes

different approaches one goal
