The only solution to Healthcare is Single Payer.  No Insurance companies necessary.  ConservaDems and Republicans don`t see anything wrong with our current failing system so this is what we will have for who knows when.

Kucinich knew Doing nothing would have resulted in more death and wasted money.  At least some lives will be saved, some costs mitigated and care for Pre Existing conditions cannot be denied.

Your Private Insurance controls that aspect of it.  Guess what is going to happen as long as you keep supporting Private Health Insurance companies?  They will keep rising.  Get used to it.  They need to be profitable as their goal is to make money on suffering.  It does them no good to pay out more money they take in.

I would go a step further than a single payer system and have no health insurance at all.  If you have a single payer system, the employee will have to contribute to the insurance pool, just as you do now.  It's true that insurance companies will be out of the picture, but you are still eliminating the element of personal responsibility.  I like the idea of eliminating insurance companies, taking the burden off employers and putting personal responsibility on the consumer.
