Dorians arms were subpar always. His torso overpowered his arms. His chest was also bad, the pecs are attached to high on his rib-cage. Nothing wrong with his quads in my opinion- his legs were better than Ronnie's in most ways.

Ronnies arms and chest were cleary better than those of Dorian, and both had fantastic backs.

Even though he wasn't at his best, his waist didn't look pregnant and distended. Why can't these guys maintain the already sizable amount of mass they carry and just continue to refine and work on quality? As I said, can any of these guys even attempt a vacuum pose? The 90's were the pinnacle in terms of balancing size, shape and muscle quality. Even Dorian looked way more aesthetic in the early 90's. Fucked up a great physique by tearing shit and getting that GH gut. He could have maintained the mass he had and worked on refinement. And not have been forced into retirement. Same goes for Ronnie.

Alot of these guys today look their best at the national level IMO. As soon as they turn pro, the quest for more size seems to be the all important factor, their bellies growing right along with the rest of them. A dramatic shoulder to waist taper is much more impressive than size at all costs, IMO!
