My son's best friend , who is the same age as my son 17, might be a natural for deadlifting as he pulled 400 with ZERO training.
He is serious about training for some teenage meets.
Can we have some help with a training routine?
He's about 175 pounds , 5'8" and probably 10 percent bodyfat not that that matters much for powerlifting.
How about you try a Sheiko routine.
Sheiko is high volume and moderate weights - perfect for a young lifter needing to perfect his form.
They all have different numbers, depending on the amount of work load.
Try the #37.

In the assisting excersises, eg side raises, also use really really light weights - less than 50% of estimated 1RM.
