If an EMP hit north america, or where ever you live what would you do?
Its that easy. 3 to 4 nukes fired over north America would render everything with an electronic circuit useless forever.
All cars built after 1980 will not work, generators, power, water pump systems, computers, cell phones, land lines.... Nothing. We will instantly go back 100 years.
All hospitals go dark, no emergency generators, ICU patients, dead, diabetics dead in a few days, elderly on meeds dead soon after......
I recently read a Book about this. Scary.
I saw a documentary on this and it would not even take multiple nukes...Seems the height at which the nuke explodes determines the perimeter of effect on earth, so the higher up the larger the area effected.
What could be done?... Can't rightly say as something like that has no precedence. For certain there will be opportunist who will look to rob, rape, steal etc etc...that aside many will perish for a simple lack of water (especially in the cities) and then the lost of gas, electricity for cooking and mechanical device usage. There is a movie called THE DAY AFTER that touches on this a little. It shows what would happen to america if there was a WWIII with many cities nuked. In the end it is assumed NO ONE LIVED for lack of supplies, electricity,food, medicine, shelter not to mention the deadly effects of radiation, because the last scene in the movie was of people dying EVERYWHERE...
