Colorado is (was) nice but Denver sucks.
A colleague and his American wife is moving to America. She's originally from Delaware (really, who's from Delaware?) but they fancy something else. Now, they didn't ask for my advice, but I was wondering, if my advice was asked, where would be the best place to live in America? Try and keep your bias out of this. I've been to most of the big US cities and it's not pleasant places to live.Personally, I'd probably move to Denver or somewhere in New England. I like it leafy, quiet and white.
What kind of work will they want ? ... and where are they coming here from ? .. they may want a totally different type of place or very similar to where they've beenUtah is very pretty and has lots of places to have fun skiing , rafting , rock climbing etc.
Mormons and tons of chinks.Quiet away from the resorts though.
The promise of flee rand.
chinks ? really ? .. I never knew thatI wonder what draws them there
I was told that there were internment camps built there way back and many just stayed. I was actually amazed at the number of slants that are there.Nice people though from my experience up there.
San Diego Area is the well kept secret... best climate in the country, pretty much 70's all year round; beaches beyond belief, relatively low population density, high income, excellent Universites, lots of high tech, the desert only an hour away to play with your toys, yet an hour away from LA as well for world class entertainment. No wonderSultans like these below chose is as their home base.
What's wrong with Mexico?Really?
apparently burlington, vermont and knoxville, tennesse are always in the top 5 best cities to live in USA for the last 10 years according to forbes and cnn.........low cost of living, low crime, low taxes, etc
