no one in Asia They need a Pro GP in Asia, they were going to do the Japan GP a few years ago but Hide getting busted for importing steroids ended that, Musclecenter I know you are part of IFBB in Taiwan how about trying to get an Asia GP? I think the perfect place would be in Macau at one of the big casinos there

Bodybuilding not famous or popular in Hong Kong, HK has no good players in any sports, its not a sporting place, Macau has better venues to hold a big pro show, Japan would be the best place in East Asia for a pro show, bodybuilding is more popular there

Thanks for posting the schedule, I saw it already on the site, but it is good to get it out there for everyone. I am going to go to the Europa in Chicago and maybe the one in Orlando along with the masters pro in DEC.

this happenes with the IFBB a lot............... its an ebb and flow
sometime there arent enough shows............. then everyone goes "hey we need more shows"............ and they saturate the schedule with a dozen extra shows
there are WAY too many shows scheduled for next year, many of them will fail................. people say "we dont have the euro GP circuit anymore"............ well there is a reason for that, the shows were not makin money and were cancelled.............. after a few years people forget , embark on making the same mistake again

Yes,there is a new bb organization in Japan. But still a very small one. 95% Japanese amateur bodybuilders are associated with IFBB's JBBF I think.

Is the new Japan fed connected to the ABBF/WBPF? the JBBF has long been the main fed in Japan after they replaced the JABBA which was connected to NABBA, Musclemania used to have a Japan contest

I think the 4 hows in Europe will do ok, the British GP and FIBO will do the best IMHO, bodybuilding is fairly popular in Germany and the UK, Im guessing it must be fairly popular in Spain as they are having 2 shows this year! Maybe the top US guys wont go there and compete but plenty of Euro pro's will have a chance to compete more and not have the cost of flights and accommodation to the US to burden them.

You need just the right amount of shows to have enough competitors in it. This looks to be ok, and this way everyone can time it correctly.
The FLEX contest, in my area, is going to do great, along with the Arnold Classic two weeks later. As the way it should be, the start of a very good IFBB pro season out here.
Kudos to getting more Pro Shows in Europe, where quite a number of competitors come from.

Hey Ron, I agree. If the new divsions allow us to have MORE IFBB pro events, then I am all for it! I can roam around and bore folks like you or Bob Chick when the men's board shorts is on stage . Don't you and /or Issac pretend to be busy and try to avoid me now hehe.Of course if I saw someone like me comming over, I would hide. LOL, I know Lonnie Teper would love to chat with me.
