The Red Army was in eastern Poland by that time less than 500 miles from Berlim. If the U.S had not entered the war, Nazi Germany would have been defeated anyway, but Western Europe would have become Stalin's playground. As for Japan, I agree with you. The Koreans and Chinese would be speaking Japanese now, and that is if the Japanese simply didn't choose to genocide them. So the entering of the U.S in World War II stopped communism from taking hold in western Europe and Japan from getting a Pacific Rim empire, but it didn't stop the defeat of Nazi Germany.
