Great going, you feature covers that have a someone going to jail (Milos), someone whose wife left him after he luekemia, and looked shitty after his two failed comebacks (Dennis Newman), a guy who had the worst chest of any pro, and is in jail for murder (Craig Tight-Ass), and on the same cover, the most photoshopped pic that has ever been on any cover, that shows a dude doing a 400 pound tricep extension (according to people who "supposedly" know the size of those plates)

yea..because back then they knew that Newman is going to get sick, or Milos and Titus going to jail.  ::) so you prefer the apes?

Well, Weider and company were jizzing themselves when it came to Newman, his infamous thong pictorial will forever be in the hall of shame...but again, like all hyped bbers, he never panned out.
Titus, had always had problems. And they saw the writing on the wall with him---no chest, always getting into trouble and having a hissy fit when Phil Hernon beat him. Titus was pretty much relegated to the Musclemag covers...Milos, well he seemed to get lost in the shuffle, but he was a good cover model for Musclemag, the chicks he was pictured with were top notch, can't hate on him...

Facially, these dudes have  what it takes, and didn't show the signs of abuse that Jay, Ronnie and others have...

That was my point in the original post...those covers are more "mainstream" than the covers MD is making nowadays with only meatheads and schmoes as subscribers.

shit, this is the cover of Titus with this fitness model, I can't remember her name. she married some dude named Tito. I don't know if they're still together, but that chick was Hot back in her days as a fitness model
