People like you are similar to my aunt. When someone is in continuous pain you shouldn't have to make them suffer for your purpose of keeping them around for entertainment. That is almost as bad as Terry Shaivo's situation. My aunt has a dog that is blinde, and eaten up with tumors and in pain yet she insists on giving it steroids to keep it around for her purposes. People sometimes need to learn to let go. It is selfish and disgusting.

I think i have been some what emotionally cut off from animals since i haven't had a pet since i was living at home and after my favorite cat died. I was only 13 but i cried pretty hard. I lost my 20 year old dog that had been there since i was 4 but it really didn't effect me.

Not clicking on that dog video. The times when I've had animals put down, I've never stayed in the vet's room when they did it. I say my goodbyes the night before. Just could not be in the same room with an animal looking at me with their dying eyes.
