Even I have a hard time believing this version of history, which is TOTALLY different than what was taught in school and college. Now there is this supposed expose that Lewis was in cahoots with Thomas Jefferson and the two had secret communication and codes? That he was ASSASSINATED? That he had a military escort across america? Claims of him being SUICIDAL? I can't rightly say if any of this is true, but there is a new series on THE HISTORY channel called DECODED, that is doing this expose in very much the same fashion as Jesse Ventura's Conspiracy Theory show.

All I can say is have a look at this FULL EPISODE and see what you think. Can't see how this much information about a person could have been convenient LEFT OUT of history...and now is discovered? Or is the History Channel just looking to attract viewers and skewing history.

Sadly you are very right...history has surely shown that all who speak up, tell the truth, reveal the hidden or lead the masses are quickly assassinated, silenced, demonized or their character slandered in order to halt their waking up/telling of truth/leading of the masses.
