She has been doing wedding photgraphy as her sole income source for years and lives off of it, so enough people like her work. It's not a black-and-white profession with only one correct way of doing it. I'm sure there'll be various types of photos when I get the package. I have a few others here from her so far but only in thumbnail-type size.

Same problem with these pics of you guys sitting down, way overexposed and the white balance is out of wack..

Thanks for the input. I'm guessing the photographer figured it looks better that way, but anyway when I get the final package I'll see if too many are that way I can ask her to change them up.

so how can you fix this? I have some pic's from a wedding a few years ago that suffered the same fate but do have the raw images, is it just a matter of taking them to another photographer? photoshop?

Don't know the guy, but have to agree with many of the positive sentiments here. The guy mans up and posts pics of his physique, is complete class in handling the internet warriors on Get Big, has a great sense of humor (I still don't know if the Nasser posts are real or just the guy having a little fun), has a good job, travels the world, and is enjoying life with his friends and family. I don't know how anyone can dis that.

Yes, a raw image file is essentially the un-processed photograph, like a negative meaning you can change and adjust all the aspects of the image, like exposure, white balance, colors, tones, crops, etc. etc. a processed image is the finished product (ie. a rendered jpg) all this information has already been decided (on the camera, at the time of the picture) and is therefore sealed in stone, RAW leaves the image open and untouched for studio touch ups without destroying/affecting the original image.

You can take your raw images to a photo/image editor or another photographer and they will be able to correct what you do not like about the finished product. Our fearless leader Yaroni (as most pro photographers) shoots in raw all the time.
