Most college guys don't have much success in the NFL. Spurrier, Kiffin, Petrino etc...

He MIGHT work out, but there is a much better chance of failure.

Oh brother, 49ers.

Luck staying at Stanford, too. Losing his head coach, 4 of his 5 starting OL and probably $40+ million. Not the smartest.

They were the best of the jobs, not that that's saying much haha. I thought he was going to stay with Luck for one year, and wait while better jobs might come up after next year, but it's hard to pass on 25 mil.

If the rookie salery cap goes into effect next year (by all accounts it will) it will be a fixed amount anyway.

I don't know dude, Miami has a better team and was offering 8 mill a year, I think. He couldnt run the whole show, though.

Yeah, it's most likely going to happen. And they're saying he's going to end up losing $40-50 million with the new cap. I'll be surprised if Stanford is a .500 team this year. And the last few QBs that passed on being top 10 picks to come back for another year have all suffered. Locker, Bradford, etc.
