However, that poll shows 1/3 of the nation believes hate from the right was to blame.  it's incorrect - but it's the perception.  So the left was able to capitalize upon the shooting and connect it to Palin's gun imagery.

So in that effect - they have neutralized some of her power.  Factually inaccurate, but we've already thrown morals out the window when we're talking politics.

About 33%. Close to the same percentage of people, shrinking number at that, that still consider themselves Democrats.  Problem solved. You can move on now.
