Here...this might help you out...do you know Mr. Magoo..?

LOL...of course you dont

You're not gay, you'e confused at this point in your life...it's all about perception, my repressed friend...I didnt call other sports gay, I asked how YOU viewed it...kind of says how your brain thinks and processes.

I'll dumb it down for you....

see, the regular straight guy sees a UFC fight, and sees two guys fighting to win....never a homosexual thought enters their mind...

YOU see nothing of the sort, but imagine what it would be like to be on the bottom as the muscular fighter mounts you in the guard position...you see their bodies rubbing together , etc...

Just as you saw that pic of me demo-ing an exercise with a trainer spotting, you chose to describe it much differently with references to "tiny outfits", and him "reaching around..",  "my ass", "some guy shooting it.." as if it was in some dimly lit basement...etc..

Hope this helps you to stop living in denial and just be yourself...it's much more liberating.

It's OK....really

Your insecure on how others see your profession get over it, people are never gonna respect bodybuilders.
Your the equivalent of william shatner, you think your part of something bigger than it actually is.

Bodybuilders this day an age are boring lazy oil bags compared to the pros in the 70's. I was watching pumping iron clips before my workout today what a difference the pros actually had some charisma back then. It seemed more like a sport. Arnold, Franco, and even Lou are interesting interviews. Guys today are boring as hell. Dennis Wolf the guy looks like he's half asleep during his interviews and he looks like pasty shit. Arnold and Franco were dressed up nice during the interviews they were pretty good looking dudes that actually looked like athletes. Body building is a joke it sucks now. Oh well.

They trained 10X harder than pros today and actually had fun doing it. They trained for the love of it, pros today train because they have to.

They were real athletes who were show AND go with tons of emotion, natural charisma, and genuinely loved to work out. Notice the scene in P.I. when Ken Waller and the other dude throwing the football around at the park and doing wind sprints making fun of Mike Katz lol. And not only did they look awesome, they were strong as hell and actually used to ATTRACT women instead of drive them away! They blew up hot water balloons, bent iron horseshoes with their bare hands, did 600lb+ squats, ripped LA phone books in half, played sports- you name it they did it or would try and do it! All while competing in the highest level of bodybuilding competitions in pro circuit. And some of them even did Worlds Strongest Man Competitions too! ;D

Fans wanted to see real life Herculean action figures with incredible size, density and power and who packed on mass to kick ass, not to impress a bunch of sex starved little freaks like todays IFBB pros. I also notice how f#cking serious these guys take themselves too with their dull boring ass personalities narrow minds stuck in the puny bodybuilding world. And thats exactly why they get the rep that they do, so they should quit acting like a bunch of overinflated bozos and stop whining about why their looked down on as a group.

Todays pros arent bodybuilders neither, they are body exploiters.

Listen up peeroy. I've been lifting since 1994 and I have a natural physique that you can any DREAM of.

I saw those skinny-fat pictures of you at the expo. You are all drugs. I don't need drugs. I'm a natural sex god.

 BOW DOWN.

1994? I was already training 17 years by then!!!

After seeing the vid of Dennis Wolf's recent training, (back)...it made me think how many of todays top pros perform BOTH squats AND deadlifts in their weekly training splits, like pros of yesterday.

If you're at the top, perhaps commanding 6 figures per year, and all you do is eat-train-sleep, why would you not train as hard as possible? WHY??
Ever hear the saying......TRAIN SMART

Avoiding injuries 3 weeks out from a show is of utmost importance to top level bbers like Wolf

A friend of mine was living out in the "mecca of bodybuilding" back in 2002 til 2004, and he witnessed many of the pros training, and he told me that they only trained their legs very hard. And on an unrelated side note, this friend of mine trained Tom Byron at da time 8)

They trained 10X harder than pros today ...

funny thing about that - arthur jones, mentzer, darden and friends used to attack Arnold for being a lazy trainer.
claimed he would never push himself, wouldnt do the 'last few reps' (meaning failure), etc.

i think in the end its just a way to attack those at the top - jones was trying to get in on the weiders empire, and discrediting their champ was the best way to do it. also an average gymrat can make himself feel better by saying he trains the right way, 'hardcore', and he feels less bad about the 'lazy' pro who outweighs him by 100 pounds.

the rest of your post is spot on, imo

Ok gays...let's clarify this a bit with little Q/A...

Q1: Are those pics of Bob Chick "squatting" directed towards gay audience?
A1: Yes, they are.
Q2: Did Bob get payed for doing that photoshoot?
A2: Yes he did.
Q3: Did his job at that time include any further "sexual activities"?
A3: Not that I'm aware of?
Q4: Does posing for money for gay audience make you gay?
A4: No.
Q5: Would you as a straight guy pose for money for gay audience?
A5: Yes you would, all depends on the financial compensation.
Q6: Are you guys jealous because Chick gets paid for basically doing nothing?
A6: Yes, you are.

I watched Pumping Iron again the other day. Those guys looked awesome. The Pro's today are a bit too much. Not from a wanting to look like that, but it doesn't look as good as Arnold, Serge etc.

LOL where are the 450lb+ barbells rows? Where are the 650lb+ bare handed dead-lifts? This is the reason why most pros today lack the Herculean type power physique. All drugs, no base, foundation or density. Take him off the drugs for a year and he'd be f#ck all.

I'd like to know what this guys lifts would be if he did go off the gear for a while. I bet there would be tons of naturals on this very site that would outlift him and be more impressive. I can't believe I used to buy into the IFBB mirage when I was a young teen lifting weights in my parents shed in the bleak sub zero winter.

I could never see these guys even training without drugs or lifting buckets of sand and busting their asses to to gain solid muscle.
No disrespect to Dennis Wolf though, he is a great "athlete"  ::)

Jesus bro...I really dint think I can simplify it anymore than I have.

You DIDN'T lie...you gave an honest answer as to what YOU see in the pic...consider it a Rhorshack test.

Straight guys see it one way...YOU see it another...that's the point.

I didn't have to "tell myself" it was professional...the facts and circumstances dictate that...this wasn't for some seedy underground website, it can be found to this day in a nationally distributed publication.

And yes...there are (and I was one of them)..."muscled up guys flexing in a small outfit in exchange for money"...the straight guys call it " Professional Bodybuilders competing on a stage for a title and prize money"

See...even in your pathetic excuse to try and explain yourself, you subconsciously STILL refer to things as YOU perceive them...

DENIAL...look it up
Great owning by Chick....It's true. A fag will look at a pic and see gayness, even if it's not there.

Heavy lifting is the dumbest fucking thing ever. How does lifting ever benefit anyone.

It doesn't make you healthy in fact it makes you worst off. It doesn't make you look any better. It makes your endurance go down in any real sports.  It doesn't even make you more powerful.  It's one thing to have functional power, but that's mostly found in your legs which itself has little to do with benching.

And yes I'm a skinny fat bald twink, who can't lift.
