Hyde Park (Pavarotti was there)

you saw Pavarotti?  waaaaa
I heard they wheeled him out, (a neighbour of mine plays cello with that orchestra) then he stood up and sang?  He died at home in Italy immediately afterward ?

nice London memories, I adore them, this is the centre of the universe !

with drips and leaks and drainage issues from the flats above us which I really must have a word with Cliffy about...

Utube "It's a Man's World", James Brown and Pavarrotti, just before he died.

James Brown travelled to Rome to record this with him and it's awesome.

I don't know how to do the blue clicky thing...

nananananaaa, i didn't say that.  I have no idea what year you were here.  I said you saw him here in London just before he went home and died?

Thanks for posting Pavarotti/James Brown 'It's a Man's World' at the Colosseum in Roma.  Thanks so much.

I'm going to play it again and turn it up loud full blast and piss all the neighbours right fucking off.

My new neighbour Cliffy is one of those British/African Carribean men who wear all that black with red yellow orange and green Haille Sailasse stuff with all the accessories dangling, like plastic Africa pendants, earrings and matching hats?

I was hoping it was this Cliffy:

It was quite by accident.  I don't know where we were, but it was no where near Hyde Park.  My sis-in-law saw a advertisement on a post somewhere and said we have to go.  The concert was already in progress, but she insisted we get on the tube and get to the park.  We hauled ass.  By the time we got there he was on his last song.  But hey ~ I can say I saw Pavarotti in Hyde Park  ;D

It was quite by accident.

It was serendipity.  You were here and it happened.
