I was impressed with Kentucky in the 2nd half of the season.....they got screwed with a 4 and UF a 2, after beating UF twice on a short span.

ND should have had the 4th #1. I would have even bumped Pitt to get them there.

Carolina looked more like the Tar Holes in the whole ACC tourney.....lucky to even get to Sunday. A sweet 16 would be an accomplishment at this point.

I think Duke should've been a 2 but I could have seen Pitt being replaced by ND. ND beat Pitt at Pitt. I think they didn't want to give 2 #1's to the Big East, who have 11 teams in the tourney.

Haha, that's exactly where I'm at. My two main brackets had Louisville in the Sweet 16 and ODU > Butler. I usually do one 12 > 5 a year and Richmond was it for this year.

You should have saw the ACC tourney championship.... Strickland on UNC had 3 charges called against him....freakin' dook players flop more than any team in the country and ALWAYS get the call.

Damn! I should have flat out predicted a Butler victory. Crazy ending with those ridiculous fouls. The last foul by Pitt should register as one of the biggest bone head moves in NCAA tourney history. Not nearly as bad as Chris Webber's TO but pretty goddamn stupid, nonetheless.

not really surprised about pitt

not a single nba guy on the roster so locals were foolish to think they could go all the way

they are built to do well in the big east, which seems to be more physical street ball

the ncaa seems to be more finesse, making a lot of outside shots and free throws which is their weakness every year

They represented themselves well. I'm surprised they don't have more consistency over the years. I know there isn't a long-standing "tradition" but I would think it wouldn't be too difficult to recruit good players to come to San Diego.

I agree. If I'm not mistaken, only takes a year to establish residency in California for school, unless it's changed since I moved from San Diego. Which makes school cheaper out there. I know my brother and lots of friends were blaming the refs calls for SDSU loss, but I don't see it that way.
