Uuuuuh....well....I hate to tell you this but a corrections officer, police officer, detention officer, highway patrolman, deputy sheriff, transport officer, are all peace officers. There's not a separate Police Academy for any of the positions.

I was a Detention Officer working mainly in the Pods. If you think my job was a cakewalk, then try being locked in with 120 inmates freely walking around you with no weapon whatsoever...not even pepper spray...just your bare hands. Most police officers told me that they would never take my job and I got a lot of bumps and bruises and an inmate in medical housing actually tried to kill me and a nurse over not getting the right meds and he was in there for murder in fact.

So take your comments and shove them up your fucking ass because you don't know shit about anything.
