i plan on spending no more than 1500...to me its not worth it to go into marriage in debt...the meaning and thought behind the ring is what matters to me, not the price tag

I believe De Beers created this whole 2 month salary bullshit in the 50's in an add campaign.

Before that there was non of this. Of course now you have to spend half your salary and sell all of your shit, so the bitch your about to marry can have a bigger ring then her girlfriends. That is of course if your a chump.
