Another misconception...

We are in other parts of the world because countries can't deal with their own problems and protect themselves. If it weren't for the US and the military standing as a constant reminder to deter threats to allies...
I however don't expect you to understand this since you and Che are brainwashed Libtards that think the world will be ok if we all hold hands and sing Kumbaya.... What a crock of shit.

ha... fuckn hell, your in those parts of the world because you helped to create those problems in the 1st place, as a country we created some huge fuck ups, but the US are right at the forefront

The price of war. Sometimes good people get killed due their own leaders making a terrible decision to go to war in the first place. The Japanese leaders knew this when they attacked Pearl Harbor. It is not the U.S's intentions to harm innocent people, but there are a few incidents where rogue military personnel have done their own thing. Just like the recent discovery of the the Army guys who killed innocent Afghans for fun. They will get their due sentence.

It is a very well known fact Americans wanted to test the bomb on real people, just for fun.

US Military has too much power now that The USSR no longer acts as a dominant opponent. Though things are little by little again returning in balance... That's only good thing for the world.

And without us you would be living in a 3rd world country stripped of the freedoms you have in the usa dick head..

Well, without "you" there would be some other underpriviledged or unprepared 17 year old to take your place for 3 meals and steady pay.

Be that as it may, I usually stop to show my thanks to soldiers when traveling, passing through airports and such.

Dan18 is not replaceable.  His forehead is the missile shield Reagan dreamt of.

word on the street is dan18's forehead has shielded NYC from direct hits from two soviet ICBMs. they didn't even put a dent in his forehead.

I heard Osama Bin Laden used Dan18's forehead as the backdrop for a projection machine that he used to teach pilots how to fly into buildings.

I call bullshit on this... So we are still in Germany because we created problems for them back in WWII? Learn your history.

Well partly yes. No one didn't intervene to their psycho actions until it was too late for smaller than world war conflict.
I don't of course blame only USA for this - it's understandable as they are on whole different continent - but all the allies; USA, USSR, GB...

But WWII was what made USA big! Europe was hugely hit and ruined. US then financed the reconstruction and took over half the Europe as USSR took the other half. That war suited USA better than anything.

I see your point, but back in the day the United States didn't jump into the war for superpower gain it was forced into it by Japan and then Hitler being a big issue. Hitler was becoming so much of a problem no one could turn a blind eye to it. Russia wasn't strong enough to defeat Hitler by itself, neither was Britain. The U.S. Military stayed in UK for two reasons, one was to help in the rebuilding of the continent and two, to make sure to keep Stalin in check considering he wanted to occupy Germany. If the United States would not have set up shop in UK, a lot more countries would be speaking Russian.

Most soldiers deserve respect - the cause for which they are forced to fight for not so.

This is the point that so many of these fucktards miss.  I don't agree with a lot of our foreign policy, but I'm not going to sit there and say things like "fuck the troops".  You're certainly welcome to your opinion, but that doesn't make you less of an asshole.

Odd thing is, many of the troops were saying the same damn thing before 9/11 or when they were complete eff ups stealing somebody's car...you have a generration of disrespectful eff ups, that today go into the military...and then many of the ones who come back and are hailed as Heroes, are beating the living day lights out of their wife, g/f...and don't let me start on the DUIs that the Marines get over here (Annapolis). Oh well, the military has to work with what they have...

Oh you're correct on that, sir.
Imagine all the things there might be today! We could have traveled to Mars already! Moon would be divided to USA-Moon and USSR-Moon, both having huge nuke-bases up there  :o

But I meant that, if USSR would still exist, there would be two huge superpowers - there would be balance, you know!
Now the past 20 years, USA has been on that field pretty much alone... until now...

Until now? What's changed?

Russian Federation is making a comeback with power.

They've just started to return in game. Now again they act as they want, they operate around the world first times since fall of the USSR.
Yep, small scale compared to cold war -era, but things don't happen overnight when you have to build up empire out of ruins all over again.

New arms developing and some in production already. New nuclear-subs to replace old ones already joined the fleet...

With brand new bulava-missiles:

Remember this  ;)

Huge amphibious assault chopper carriers in order from France:

Aircraft carrier groups planned. New sophisticated nuke-systems produced, strategic and tactical. New doctrine, allowing use of tactical nukes with lower threshold.
And don't forget Russian Federation showed it doesn't anymore listen to UN when they put Georgian bastards in their place. 5 fkin' days  8)

Look... Russians captured US-leased Hummers from  Georgia LOL
Back in 2008 during the conflict, I remember some Russian official said they could sink whole NATO-fleet on Black Sea in very short time if necessary..

Not to mention Russian Federation providing NASA astronauts lifts to space these days. Back in space-game also  8)
