I'm a fiscal conservative and social liberal. I lean republican ...but I realize both parties are full of dummies.

With that being said, talking money and business with liberals is like trying to have a conversation about destryoing pussy with a virgin. They want goverment to have the power to tax the fuck out of us and then give money to their causes of "helping" people.

I live in Illinois. One of the worst taxed states. My buddy is moving his buiness to Florida next year because of taxes. With the money he will save in Florida he can live in a nice house and drive a brand new Porsche for FREE. It's like the state is saying we will pay for your home and car if you move your business here.

This fucking state/country is being run into the ground by libs/democrats.
Fuck all the retards saying that republicans are greedy/power hungry/...etc.
This country was founded on principles of free market economics and just plain old getting ahead of the next guy.

I hear you broseph.  I am in Chicago as well, and with the new hike, i have to look into re-registering the business in Indiana or Wisconsin somewhere as this is just getting ridiculous.

Another thing no one mentioned is that the unemployment insurance (at least for our company) just went up to 8.4.  So 8.4 + 5 = 12.9% or so is shit out immediately.  the best part is, Quinn says he needs more.

supply-side economics aka Reaganomics are back and surely the only viable option,

you gotta be shitting me. its called classical economics aka macroeconomics and it allows for huge dips in a cyclic manner, as well as unfairness and exploitation. we went through this after the great depression. laizzes faire is okay in the long term, but in the long term were all dead.

Obama is Carteresque, a failed push for socialization of the greatest fighting democracy in human history. Epic fail but dont blame the man, blame the party.

failed push for socialization? the only thing socialist about obama was the huge bailout, and that was pushed for by Bush too and every economic advisor he has.

My prediction; HUGE Government cuts, tax cuts and a very small business friendly environment upon us.. aka what built this country and made it great, a lower dollar to help exports... a build up in highly skilled manufacturing, including clean energy and fast pace high quality precision processes.

huge cuts and a build up of skilled workers eh? lol, as if those two are compatible.  our skilled workers are gone. manufacturing has left america. our schools dont provide quality education for 80% of kids. we are university centered, individualists and our schooling needs to be vocationally centered and collectivist.  conservatives would not go for that and they wouldnt pay for it either. nor owuld they help push clean energy.

In other words, the elites are back in charge very soon and prosperity will flow.

The 80's are back.

what built this country was our industrial and manufacturing might. but we allowed all of our companies to take all of our good manufacturing jobs and put them overseas where they can pay pennies, pollute, lower tax rates, etc.  we will only return to the prosperous days of old if we can buiold up our manufacturing sector adn simultaneously provide vocational training for all children who cant make the university standards (most of them).

tax cuts andf government cuts are not the answer. they will only further hurt the situation.

so you're suggesting we do away with bargaining rights?  i think that's step one.  it would help to be competitive when you don't have to pay someone $70/hr to stand around and do nothing while reporting you if you tell him to do some work, right tdongz?

also, let's give employers back the right to fire people, starting with "teachers".

depends on the scope. people definitely have the right to assemble, unionize, and demand whatever they want. but the company also has the right to refuse demands, fire the workers, and hire other people who will work in their place without asking for more money, les hours, more benefits, whatever.   i think its currently illegal to fire workers who go on strike. and i would make that legal.

unions can and have in the past pushed for and gotten more than they should. a proportional share of profits is good, but a business has to stay profitable first and foremost.

The unions in Chicago are sickening. Tradesmesn (plumbers, sheetmetal workers, carpenters, etc) should NOT be making around 6 figures a year. Historically, the people that went into the unions were the drop outs, guys that couldn't afford college, didn't want to go, burn outs, ...etc. So now in a recession all these fucking guys are laid off and collecting unemployment...nobody can afford these assholes.

On Saturdays ...which is doubletime in the union they'd make $80some bucks per hour. You can't run a fucking business like that and sustain it.

I know PLENTY of union guys from the soutside and for the amount of work they do versus their paycheck is fucking retarded.

I knew a guy that worked twenty some years on the assembly line at the Ford Plant on the south side. Fucker would screw the headlights in cars and get paid over $40/hour. You're telling me that to screw head lights on a car should get paid $40/hour ? That's crazy.

Teachers too, they bump up your salary in your last 4 years and then take the average and base your pension based off that. I know a retired teacher from the city that is making $80K this year being retired. That's not a bad fucking salary for ANY JOB.

Yeah but having a Mexican screw them in for 7 dollars a day doesn't solve the problem either.

Solves YOUR problem....not the country's.  8)
