I wonder if Arnold will make an unexpected, last minute entry at his funeral to truly shake things up?

PIP Serge..

Check out Serge and Jimmy Thomson's discussions on this page.
Serge even stared that he knew WORSE things than Jimmy spoke of and that it would all be in his book.
He says that Joe Weider had sex with the bodybuilders but never asked him because Joe knew he would have ended up in hospital.
Great stuff.  RIP Serge

RIP. Always admired his physique since I was a kid looking through Arnolds Encyclopedia. Underrated in bodybuilding because he was always quiet.
REST IN PEACE ....Arnolds Encyclopedia you can wipe your arse with.

RIP. I met Serge in 1977 doing seminar in Toronto for my boss Ken Wheeler. He was training hard for a WBBG show, and saw him train for few days prior to seminar. Old Bruce Page, a writer for IronMan, taped TIGHT Serges arm after an arm workout, and i witnessed a true 21 1/4" measure. Pecs, delts/traps, arms were outrageous for such a small boned taller guy. His waist looked only slightly bigger than his arms in his tight weight training belt.....

Thats a shame.
One minute he was posting on here about how Joe Weider liked to hang out with gay transvestites when he visited Serge in Paris in the 1970's and how he was going to release a book exposing all sorts of sordid things........

......and now he's dead after being in a coma for 2 years.

but no connection I'm sure  ::)

Buddy of mine said he saw Serge at an Expo in France a short while ago. Even showed me a pic he took of him. So what happened to him? Who knows the whole story?

From the pic I couldn't 100% confirm it was him but it was a downsized black dude. I asked him if h was sure it was Nubret and he said of course, dude was signing pics of Nubret. Let's see if I can get the pic from him to post here. It was the "Salon Body Fitness Expo".

Serge Nubret said on PBW:"Todays Bodybuilders Look Like Pregnant Women Freaks!”

He does 50 sets per bodypart and does 2,000 situps at a time, IN ONE SET. Eats 9 pounds of food per day. 800 grams of protein per day, and 5000 calories per day. Still trains 3 hours a day at 70 years old.

Serge put out some BS, no doubt about it.  But he was from a different generation, when bluster and bullshit were part of the deal.  Still plenty o' bullshit to go around, in fact.

RIP, Brotherman.

I am just back from a week away and have just heard the news!!!!
I promoted Serge's last seminar here in the Uk and spent a week with him beforehand - He was a gentleman and a legend. Unlike a lot of today's bodybuilders, he insisted on paying his way and even insisted that me and the venue kept most of the proceeds of the product sales from the seminar. He was just grateful of the increased publicity and chance to promote his biography. We trained and several gyms in London that week and he had time for everyone who wanted to speak to him. We witnessed him training in his inspirational way and he even let one guy measure his arm (nearly 21 inches at 70 years old!!!!) He told many many stories of his times in the 60's and 70's and was just a delight to know. We'll miss you Serge - You were THE physique of the 20th Century.

Way ahead of his time, and also light years ahead esthetically from today's "champions". Very sad to read that he had to spend the last two years of his life in a coma. Maybe best for him personally that his suffering has ended.

Hi. My friend, Serge Nubret was deliberately poisoned. His photo is my avatar. He is at Laribroisiere Hospital in France in the Toxicology Department. He has been sedated there for the past 4 weeks. No one is allowed to see him but the family…most of whom he does not trust.
