Im sorry, but I cant let that go. What you say is NOT TRUE. Part of the reason we are in this mess is because people thought Bush was a lot worse than he really was. His spending was certainly not ideal but it was MANAGABLE. When you consider the War on Terror he will probably go down as an above average president. He certainly was better than his dad in the domestic arena. Today's deficits have abosulutely NOTHING to do with Bush. The crashing of the stock market was not his fault either, atleast not anymore his fault than everyone in the Democrat Party. You might as well have blamed Clinton for the DotCom bust.

And Im getting sick and tired of people pissing on the Republican Candidates. People need to stop looking for the next Ronald Reagan and stop dismissing a candidate just becuase he does one liberal thing you dont like. Remmber that REAGAN granted amnesty to illegals. The likely candidtate will be either Romney, Pawlenty, or Huntsman. Either one of those guys would be the best Candidate we have had since Ronald Reagan. Picking Obama over any one of those guys would be like picking Barabas over Jesus. Conservatives need to stop kicking themselves in the ass. We have good candidates here.

Those Confident That America’s Best Days Lie Ahead Down to 31% (lowest level ever)
Rasmussen Reports ^ | April 25, 2011 | by Scott Rasmussen

~ EXCERPT ~

Voter confidence that the nation’s best days are still to come has fallen to its lowest level ever.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of Likely Voters shows that just 31% believe America’s best days are in the future. That’s down three points from last month and is the lowest result found in polling since late 2006.

Fifty-three percent (53%) believe America’s best days are in the past, also the highest measurement in over four years. Sixteen percent (16%) are undecided.

Separate polling finds that only 22% of Likely Voters believe the United States is now heading in the right direction. That ties the lowest level found during Barack Obama’s presidency.

Yet another conservative trapped in the false left/right paradigm.  Surely by now you realize there is no real difference whether we get a Repub or democrat in office.  They are both the parties of big government.  Romney is clearly establishment nothing will change with him.  Only a true Tea Party/libertarian Candidate would be able to go against the system like an Alan West, Herman Cain, Gary Johnson, Ron Paul, maybe even Bachmann.

Yeah, he's having trouble getting his name out there though, not many people have ever heard of him.  Dude is a triathelete and has climbed Mt. Everest.  That's the kind of person we need as a President.  Only thing about him is his marriage, he is divorced now so that could hurt him.

wrong.  there are differences and lots of them.  all that matters is how they'll vote on the record.  a good repub and tea party/libertarian candidate SHOULD be one in the same.  ron paul is an extremist and a nut but right on many issues.  the rest on that list along with christie, ryan, jindal, should be the future of the GOP with bachmann at the top.
