just read that a high school track coach in a town 25 miles outside of boston was fired ON THE SPOT by the assistant principal because the boys on the team were having practice shirtless and the coach had been warned before for the coach NOT to allow this to happen?

are you kidding me? when i first read this i thought it was some high school coach of a girl's track team that were in sport bras or something like that. or you would have thought the coach TOLD the boys to go shirtless or they were shirtless in a class or something! geez,....

track practice, uh, i think you get sweaty don't you and it's after school hours, so what is the big fricking deal, i remember years ago when i was in high school and ran cross country and what not we would be shirtless during practice if it was hot enough and/or we were sweaty enough, and nothing was ever mentioned, in fact the thought never even crossed anyone's mind.

WAUWATOSA - Wauwatosa West boys basketball coach Mike Landisch was officially told Wednesday by the administration that he will not have his contract renewed to coach next season.

Landisch, who is recovering from a well-publicized battle with cancer, is coming off of one of the best seasons in the school's recent history.

The Trojans finished with an 11-6 Woodland Conference record and a 15-11 overall mark and they won their first regional championship since 1996.

Suspicion and rules have to change - this seems like a downhill road.
I remember an ice skating coach from the states telling me that he has to use a stick when coaching females - to prevent getting sued for harassing them!
