That is where it's at. Happy to hear of the vacated games for tOSU?
That is just the first punishment.

The delusional buckeye fans never cease to amaze me on their determination to downplay the event that have taken place over the whole saga. The two main arguments I see from buck fans to downplay the situation is that osu self-reported, and that the extra benefits did not give them a competitive advantage. Lets argue those, the first one, osu only self-reported only after their coach failed to self report, so essential a self report for a failure to self report, how candid is that?
How does this look good? How can the NCAA favor this, it's like robbing a bank, lying about doing it only it to admit it nine months later, after spending half of the money and returning the other half. This does not save face at all IMO.
Then next argument is that it that extra benefits do not give you a competitive advantage on the field, well according to the NCAA, it does. While it doesn't make you run faster, jump higher throw the ball straighter, it allows you to play players that are no long amateurs, the players are essential semi-pro. The direct relationship is that if these players don't play, you maybe don't win. If winning those games happens with those players, winning is considered a recruiting advantage by the NCAA. A recruiting advantage allows a school to get better player in the future which they would not normally have. How many more recruits are going to be attracted to a 11-1 Ohio st versus 8-4. It is a snowball effect that can not be discounted, it relates to anything associated with your program.
O$U slapped the NCAA in their faces, bro.
