Why all the hate??? 
1 - I've got 3 friends that normally train with me. I skipped our normal "leg day" because my knees were bothering me from playing ball, so I lifted by myself that day to make up for the day I missed. All of the guys I lift with are also on the keto diet and have lost anywhere from 30-50 lbs over the past few months.
2 - I did legs that day, then walked a mile, then stretched for 15 minutes, then talked to a guy who just finished his residency about med school for 20 minutes, then took a shower, then took the pics.
As for the supplements, when I said "too expensive" I should have qualified that statement. I wasnt just referring to protein powders. I would agree with you that protein powders are cheaper 'gram for gram' than regular food in most cases, but like I said, I can't stand the taste, and I prefer real food.

It will not matter what condition you are holding either, you are going to get ripped into, in fact this thread has not even been close to what you would have expected a few years back.
