I love cottage cheese.
Add a tablespoon of flax seed oil, a scoop of whey and maybe some mixed berries and you have a complete meal with great protein/fat and some carbs.

I LOVE cottage cheese. It's a good source of protein, mine has like 11 g prot/ <1 g fat/ 3 g carbs per 100 g. So thats quite good. I eat a lot of yoghurt too, but that has less protein. The only thing that worries me a bit is that its dairy, but i heard its more healthier than milk.
Usually i add sugar in it. Fruit mixed in it is really good too, but i still add a drop of sugar then. Pieces of lemon/banana is good, but the best thing imo is little pieces of apple. Chop one or two apples in lil pieces, add some to your cup of cot cheese, and the rest in the fridge, its stays good for quite some time, longer then other fruits (cause its harder) and the next time you can use it.
Never tried tuna. You just add it straight from the can? Maybe next time i'll try adding some olive oil in it, see how that mixes, i wanna raise my (healthy) fat intake.

Yes straight from the can,
1/2cup cottage cheese and 6oz can of tuna and sometimes i add pineapple .
IT's about 50 grams of protein

Cottage cheese - @cup, unsweetened apple sauce, some raisons and a small amount of diced cantaloupe. It's great on a hot day. My 4 yr old son refuses to any any type of meat, but he'll happily eat the cottage cheese mix. Oh and my protein bars too!

Try salmon/cottage cheese (pretty good), some apple sauce and cc or simply protein powder and cc.

Anybody notice that the main ingredient in cottage cheese is whey and I thought it was casein? I'm reading a label as I type.

Ok - lemme get this straight - people mix peanut butter AND cottage cheese? Together? That sounds disgusting (IMHO).
I like both, but I never thought of mixing the two. How does that taste?
My afternoon snacks are usually either some cottage cheese and vegetables, or a can of the flavoured tuna and some low-fat crackers (those niftly little cans with the easy open top).

I mix CC w/ whole grain granola, walnuts, and almond slivers. U get protein, good carbs, and good fats all in one. Plus it actually tastes really good.
