Let me guess, you guys like movies like the notebook, Twilight, or the two most overrated comedies of all time: Hangover 1 and 2.

its hard doing top 5s/10s list. i'll do mine then read a few post and think 'shit i forgot about that one'. there's only one film, for now, that will always feature on any list i ever did. goodfellas. its just so fucking awesome. when i first saw it, it was like having a film 'experience' whatever the fuck that means but yeah, it was great

I'm interested in your real list. How can you call an action/war movie gay?

Fast Five.....really?..... ....Bloodsport?...... Fast five was awesome. It had everything you could want in an action movie. Van Damme is my favorite action star, so naturally I would like the movie that put him on the map. His other movies like Lion-Heart, and Kickboxer, are also some of my all-time favorites.

Not TOP FIVE... but five movies I appreciated within the past couple of years ....
A. Inglorious Bastards .. You all know this one. B. It's Kind of a Funny Story .. A small film about a young kid contemplating suicide who commits himself and the good effect he has on his fellow 'inmates'. B. Kick Ass .. A different role for Cage. C. The Girl Who Played With Fire.. A foreign film with a difference. D. Gone With the Wind .. Because I just saw it for the 10th time.
I hate any movie with a car chase or where the "heros" blow something up and casually walk away without any apparent interest regarding the success of failure of the damage.
I've blown up a few things and watching the proceedings is impossible to avoid.
