I wanna add a nod to "The Raid: Redemption". The story is on the weaker side.... but holy shit the action and the suspense was unreal, really built up the whole notion of desperation and being cornered with no way out!

You guys want to see a real good movie? Its called "My Life" starring Michael Keaton and Nicole Kidman. It's about a normal guy who takes life for granted, until he finds out he has a terminal illness. Fantastic movie. Will make even the toughest guy hold back tears. I'm being serious.

I will have to add Expendables 2 to the list. Van Damme ftw. I'm sure Fast 6 will be there as well.

Agree, except for the basic premise of the whole movie: that we humans can affect the sun using a giant atomic bomb. It would be like a mosquito trying to bite a supertanker. NN

Outed, Gayest Movie ever! The only tears that should be shed over a movie such as this, is because people are stupid enough to sit through the whole thing.

I remember liking 'My Life'. I saw it with my uncle.
Oddly enough, the same thing happened to him that happened in the movie. He died of an inoperable brain tumor at 47 years old. His daughter was about 4 years old at the time.

I caught this as well, but went along with the premise because it was such an original idea....and that Captain of the first ship who murdered his crew has got to be one of science fiction's best grandiose villians of all time....wanting to destroy mankind so he could be alone with God.....WOW!!!..what motivation
