O.K. then Mr. 300,
If a dog has his testes cut off and he manages to build and maintain massive amounts of muscle and he is not receiving exogenous hormones, how does he make testosterone? How does he become anabolic (and remain 'anabolic?')
What pathway has been changed? If this does not correlate, why bother neutering a dog? Isn't it the same if you neutered a man?
You might just be an expert on the subject.
Enlighten me, if you will.
first... dogs are bred according to standards... looking at your pic you have a amstaff?
they are muscular dogs at birth.... so their starting point is muscular.
with humans this is not the case....
second your dog would be bigger and more toned with his nuts not cut of...
after the neutering they get fatter and less toned. eventhough your amstaff will still be highly muscular.
and i have raised dogs my whole live, seen it happen.
after the testes are cut off, he still makes hgh, igf1 and other anabolic hormones..
just not one of the most important ones... ie TESTOSTERONE, so less volume.
but really to compare a dog to a human is not the way to go....
