He was doing a photoshoot for FLEX, squatting 675 lb inside a power rack and tore both his quads when he couldn't control the weight.



Fux was bigger than Marcus with a much better structure and was just as freaky. Marcus has a better track record because Fux never got it together on stage in those few contests he competed in.

Just looked up the original article. I actually read the article a long time ago. You think that happened because of winstrol?

Ruhl tore a lat. I think thats why he looks funky these days. It was pretty nasty tear. fux is just a beast. I think marcus definately used more juice and other secret weapons then fux did. I dont see any synthol in fux. back then the cycles were not as crazy and the drugs were stronger. seems there are more bodybuilders using underground steroids and new weird drugs. The first time I ssaw ruhl I thought he looked like a science project. id give it to fux for these reasons. He looks like he could get way more rock hard then ruhl.

not true. there is a video of fux doing preacher curls and you can see the bruising from where he injected into his biceps. i know the late trevor smith talked about it and claimed that it was synthol

fux 95/96 was awesome and looked as tho he'd end up a top 3 or higher, he actualy had a great structure and probly was the widest bodybuilder at the time, but it all went down hill after that...

... you're right, he did look awesome.  Remember seeing him train in Golds and when he would walk by it was like a building moving.  He was awesome, he was huge.  I saw Ruhl for the first time in person in Golds in '99 and he hadn't yet "mutated" into the synthol freak that we know him as.  He wasn't near as big as he is in the videos.
