True, but if you are comparing yourself to things that were going on in the 11th, 12th, and 13th century, then you're a little behind the times.

I've often said that the problem with the islamic fundamentalistic viewpoint is that it's about 700-800 years behind the rest of the modern civilized world.

You do realize that Allah is simply an Arabic word meaning "the one God"? The same God as the Jews and Christians.

Muslims do believe in Jesus. They believe in Jesus as the messiah, they believe in his miraculous birth, in all his miracles, they just don't believe that he is actually God or the son of God.

At least Norway has the sense to treat them like human beings and attempt to rehabilitate them so when they are eventually released they no longer present the danger to society that they once did and can easily integrate back in with the normal population.

Think you kinda missed the point I was making. It wasn't directed at him in particular, it was a general statement about the American idea of what incarceration should be vs. the Norwegians.

In 21 years it will all be forgotten and he can publish all the books he wrote in Prison.

Well in Norway he can probably publish them from inside prison. They also have a recording studio in the prison he goes to, in 3-4 years he can start making CDs with rightwing propaganda songs.

well he does not believe in GOD.. so hardly a committed right winger..

just a side note.. they said tonight it took police 90 minutes to get to the island.. why? well they are not allowed to be issued ammunition until a judge ok's it.. is this serious? no ammo on hand for law enforcement? pathetic.. they also (the prisoners) are allowed 3 weeks "vacation" outside the prison every year so they can be "adjusted" to life outside the pen... if all this is true all i can say is wow.. why not be a criminal..
