Only $4 trillion?  Let's write that out: $4,000,000,000,000!!  Assuming 300 million people in the US, Obama has slapped every man, woman, and child with a bill of $13,333 in two years in office.

Dude... I'm not saying it's "only" 4 trillion in relation to it not being a huge number.

I'm saying it's "only" 4 trillion as compared to 10 trillion, which would be just as much as all previous presidents combined.

Don't get it twisted.

4 Trillion over 2 years vs. 10 trillion over 8 years, most of which came with pelosi and reid.   Do the math.

That 10 trillion was actually more like 28 years.

I'm not saying it's NOT Pelosi and Reid at fault as well.

It's a horrid spending pace.  Just when you thought we couldn't do worse than Bush, Obama's spending at 3× the pace of Bush.  If Boehner holds his ground, he will change the course of history.

Correct.  Imagine how much more out of control spending we would be dealing with if the Republicans had not taken over the House.

There is is simply no limit to the voracious appetite of the far left commie filth in what they will demand and steal from taxpayers.

He will not hold his ground... Remember what happened in 94 under Clinton?

This looks to be an exact repeat.

Besides... Isn't the debt ceiling about money we have ALREADY spent, not about money we are going to spend?

According to many reports, the Obama plan (or lack there of) has more cuts in it than Reid's but also includes some tax loopholes being closed thereby generating more revenue.

That's just what I've been reading and hearing about... Do you disagree with that assessment?

Yes, obama does not have a plan.

He has never proposed a plan, has no plan, has no intention of ever proposing a plan, and is there solely to create havoc.

again the fact is that the bushs and reagan have increased the debt more then all other presidents combined. What is so hard to understand about this fact, they cummulatively accounted for 13.75 trillion in debt when their terms are combined.

The last good president was clinton.

I don't have a lot of confidence in politicians holding their ground, but this time is a little different.  The Tea Party Republicans in the House aren't going to pass an increase in the debt ceiling without equal spending cuts and no new taxes.  If Obama can't play the fear card, he's out of ammunition.

you cannot divide particular acts and forget the whole, this cannot be a reductionist approach. If thats how you view things then i guess you're an easy target for propaganda.

For example

http://www.politicususa.com/en/jp-morgan-middle-class?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+politicususa%2FfJAl+%28Politicus+USA+%29

In a recent report in a JP Morgan memo to their investors from Michael Cembalest, the chief investment officer he says, “US labor compensation is now at a 50-year low relative to both company sales and US GDP.” Cembalest continues to explain why corporate profits are so strong while the rest of the working class are feeling the pinch, “reductions in wages and benefits explain the majority of the net improvement in margins.” 75% of the increase in profit margins directly correlate with the reduction in workers’ wages.

its obvious they are raping the middle class, why are you guys doing nothing about it is my question. The rich are being protected, have actually gotten richer through the recession and continue to thrive.

So you believe it's better to tax the rich to death and redistribute their wealth than to tax them fairly and encourage new business?  You do realize that the rich get richer because they have options, and increasing their tax rate does nothing to bring in additional revenue.  When was the last time you worked for a poor person?

You can't use that argument though... They are taxed the least they ever have been yet UE is climbing?

So obviously they are not using their lower taxes to create new business or hire new people.

Again - the top 1% are not the issue!

Small business typically is responsible for 75% of new hiring in the economy.  Those are not the jet owners and fat cats obama lies about.   they are the small plumbing outfit, the local diner, etc.

Obama's policies are destroying the main street economy by the day.  i dont know how many more times I can explain this this.

What new taxes has Obama levied against those people?

None... yet they are not hiring either... So what policies are you upset about?

You think it's all because of the Healthcare Bill?

this is not true, look at how many people the richest 400 people employ, it contradicts your claim. Allowing those making over 250gs to continue with the tax breaks and then having the highly rich pay only 18% is raping your economy, they dont create jobs. However, they create far more jobs then small buisness, this is a fact. Look at the data.

Absolutely false.

1.  ObamaCare is a massive tax.   Its a nightmare and a disaster of epic measure.

2.  Inflation tax.   Yes, inflation is a tax that kills purchasing power of businesses and consumers.   Obama is directly responsible for MASSIVE inflation in energy, food, commodities, and a huge loss in purshasing power of the dollar.

3.  Regulatory uncertainty.  as the details of Dodd Frank come out, there are more and more stories of small businesses who cant get any financing as a result of this bill.   I have heard from two mortrgage broker friends this week alone as to the absolute disaster this bill is.   Its beyond horrific and collapsing credit to main street.

since it's impossible to get you to admit anything, apparently they can do no wrong, are the rich who no enjoy the lowest taxes in 50 years with the most profits ever job creators? if so, why has the economy went in the shitter since this implementation.
