and how did you feel about Evil Bush imprisoning the Poor Canadian Child / Killer of medics Omar Ahmed Khadr in gitmo? Were you outraged he was denied Diet Coke and only given regular coke with his snickers as inhuman torture?
No one knows what went down in that situation... we can only speculate.
I don't see the denial of diet coke as a form of inhumane torture.
I was disgusted with former Liberal Prime Minister Paul Martin who had decided that Khadr should stay in Gitmo, but the minute he gets bounced out of office by Conservative Prime Minister Harper, he started screaming about how Harper should get him out of Gitmo. Harper made the statement a process has begun, and we should allow it to continue... but Martim tried to rally the public into thinking Harper doesn't care about Canadian citizens. I was outraged by the obvious pandering, and Martin's use of this boy for no more than hypocritical political posturing.
