Thanks gh15, great thread. While I won't specifically buy the exact items for the poor bodybuilder because luckily I'm not poor, it gives a good frame of reference as to how clean vs not-clean one should eat and you can substitute other foods with similar macros that may cost more if you're also not poor.
Also not sure why everyone says egg whites are so expensive? At the local costco they come in packs of 3 500 ml cartons. One 500 ml carton is about 1.2 lbs, and the price is $5.85. So basically $1.95 for 1.2 lbs or 56 grams of protein. Probably one of the cheapest protein sources out there.
