It has damaged Mass...and hurt the state. But oh yeah I'm from Mass and have heard it first hand from all my relatives. Please pack faster.
;D Makes no difference how fast I pack.

I can vote from anywhere in the world. I've done it before. Not even hard.

Huntsman had a shot to take down some of his competitors and side stepped it.

it wouldn't have been classy to point out the 4 or 5 idiots on the stage who think the planet is 6,000 years old.

And he's a classy dude.

newt is pwning everyone onstage the moment he speaks, and they're barely letting him speak.  bachmann treading water tonight.  Mitt is reserved but doing well.  perry is a lot different now than 90 minutes ago... pausing to think, etc.  Huntsman looking official and presidential.  the others aren't gettint much talk time.

Pausing to think isnt bad...especially with all the prep they have crammed at them. Newt is the smartest guy there, he's just not electable. He was very polished.

Newt and Huntsman sounded decent, RP seems to have really tripped up on the FDA question, Perry - blah, Cain sounded good, Bachman - blah.

Hate Santorum so my ears block out any sound coming from his mouth.

eh, it wasn't so much pausing to think, as pausing to create policy in his head at the moment.  he claimed scientists have proven global warming isn't manmade.  then he couldn't name any scientists or info he's learned.  THEN in the next sentence, he was discounting the importance of scientists.   After HE brought them up!

The real question is did the public learn anything about the candidates?

Admittedly, I only watched portions in between other shit, but I can't say I learned anything we didn't see in the news or probably even talk about here on GB.

Rick Perry asked about his jobs record... he claims the facts are wrong.  he stuttered twice.  he's working to be dignified.  very stiff, not so down-south.  acting like a national candidate, which is good for him.   He immediately diverted convo to slashing taxes.

Mitt was asked about his 47th in job creation, and showed his private sector experience as a 'buyout specialist'... Mitt said perry's team isn't accurate with their claims.  Defends his actions, said he turned around job losses in mass.  He started attacking obama.  Then, reverted to "i will slash taxes" just like perry lol... Romeny asked about bain capital - his company - which buys, fires, and resells firms.  Romney claimed he didn't do this.  "They didn't all work!"  he admitted.

Perry said ROmney is great in business - but a failure in govt.  TX created more jobs in 3 months than Romney did in 4 years.   Romney defended it by pointing out TX HAS OIL AND GAS IN THE GROUND!   But but getbiggers say that's not relevant?  lol

No softball Questions tonight!!
MSNBC does A LOT better asking tougher questions than the other networks.

Well, yes and no.

The CNN debates ripped apart the dems in 2008, while msnbc was more gentle on them.

NBC is going to actually ask the repubs candidates about their insane statements and contradictions, taht they dodge everywhere else.  At least the nation will have to see them dodge.

Seemed to me that they were just trying to play one against the other, like "Hey, Newt said blah, blah in 1985...what do you think about that Mr. Cain?".

Tough questions would have been why are block grants better than Obamacare?  What does "state creativity" mean?  What are specific examples of successfully applied block grant creativity? etc.,

I agree.  I still think the whole format of these debates is shit.  Let them have a real public Debate where they all go at it back and forth like Lincoln-Douglas.  This is all horseshit.

Yep. Enough of this sound-bite bullshit and the media circus/spin after every debate that's filled with networks taking things out of context, spinning, protecting and attacking.

It's lame and it doesn't let any candidate really debate anything or really answer any questions or really stake out any territory.

The "moderators" have far, far to much power and they def. have a fucking agenda.

He is my least fav but drones are ok by me if we are not going to put a fence wall or troops on the ground.

I'm not really sure I like the idea of using predator drones.  The border needs to be secured but if you use pradator drones to enforce laws in on area there's really nothing to stop using them in other areas.  Kind of creepy to think that one day predator drones could be crusing all around America for different reasons..  Seems there are enough traditional ways to secure the border that they could focus on and make work if they wanted to.

Thats why I prefer a fence and boots on the ground, along w turrets, mines, strategically placed dens of poisonous snakes and spiders, snipers, and IEDs
