Drug testing is a farce imo. How can it be "unfair" to the next person when all are on something? And to mention health issues, the athletes are old enough to make up their minds no? Minus the young ones like those in rhythmic gymnastics or diving etc of course...i'm sure these kids are not doing anything.

Mate, If you get to the stage these guys are they HAVE to be drugged.

And even better if they are not lets drug them and see how far we can go.

haha! get real..  ::)

its called hard work and dedication and countless fucking hours in all weathers training.

you judge these people by your own very low standards.. just cos you haven't got what it takes to dedicate yourself in pursuit of your dreams/ambitions..

Wonder what the death toll would be like if PED's were legal? Athletes will go pretty far when a gold medal is worth $20 mill in endorsements, sponsorship etc.

There's never been a recorded death linked directly to steroid or growth hormone use....not even one. If the main PED's were such a death threat you'd think there'd be at least a few directly linked deaths. And no, if someone dies and had steroids in their blood but rec drugs as well (this includes alcohol) you cannot point to steroids and say "that's the cause."

On another note, one of my old college roommates played for the Rockies for 4 years, blew out his knee and became an athletic trainer for the team for a few years. I asked him how many MLB players supplemented, half? He said no, pretty much all of them. Further, I can speak and state with direct first hand knowledge that the amount of anabolic steroids NFL players supplement with is mind-blowing, especially regarding Nandrolone-Decanoate.

lol love how you get all personal :D

Who are you to tell me I have no standarts? If at all I pretty much guarantee you my standarts in life might be a little old fashioned but they are tested by time! Like anybody else I have standarts and moral and believes like everybody else has - don't blame me if they do not fit with your warped way of looking at the world - hate to tell it to you kid - there ain't no santa clause.

We've both seen the statistics and know hospital admission rates due to hormone use are fairly low. You have a huge first-hand knowledge of hormone usage, but we're talking about PED's in general across all disciplines which is a different story.

there is realy no death pool from hormones ,, this is the saddest thing about our cult,, some bad apples ruined it for all of us,, atleast 50% of the cult is normal bodybuilders thsat just want to build their body and compete or work as fitness model or just have btter physiqes with or with out hormones...those 50% who choose steroids suffer greatly from the other 50% among us who do narcotics and high doses insulina and diuretics,,they kill themselves and then everyone blame everything on the poor steroids who really only make you healthier,, its quite sad ,, the reputation of steroids among public is so bad due to the bad 50% of us that it failed us all ,, it really did,,

look at true bodybuilders liek zane...like many others...they live to be old and happy ,,many more than zane..many of the 70s and 80s are living to be old ,, look at haney and he used some serious shit but! didnt use narcotics and didnt abuse diuretics and insulina!

it really comes to the bad 50% among us who ruin it to all the good serious bodybuilders,, so many bodybuilders dont even drink!! i know so many bodybuilders who cant even drink alcohol they cant stand it,, they really dont drink ,, then come the other 50%...and fuck it all up with some x and some cocaine and some fast diuretic to get in the club dry ...and insulina to be heavy set,, and some pain killers to num everything and some tynalol and advil to take the headache away ...oh and yes some hormones lol and the poor hormones are the ones who get blames while those 50% sit and drink 6 packs like there is no tomorow and pop x into their mouth and on few diff narcotic meds...

fellas you DO NOT die from steroids ,, PERIOD,, unless you are already having cancer from before...or really really condition from before which is rare ,, even then you usualy dont die

There is science to back up that people do not die from steriods. CAN they harm you if you take massive doses? Yes. Will it kill you? NO.

I read something like to get a Bugatti Veyron to 200mph was reasonably easy. 400bhp or something was needed.

However to get that extra 60mph the 600bhp was needed.

The faster and stronger we try to go more factors hold us back.

I presume the same applies for athletics. There is probaly only so fast our bodies with their unusual shape can run etc So much more power will be needed for that extra 1cm in teh high jump etc

Just my thoughts.

There wasn't an ounce of fast twitch muscle fibers on her 500 pound carcass.
