Most hardcore rap and rock gets me going.  Music is really a gift from God though.  All types of music can fit into so many different situations of everyday life.

I usually go with Armin Van Buuren -a state of trance

I've found that songs that pump me up,like heavy metal, arnt as good as songs that get me focused like trance.

DMX lives in Yonkers NY right near me.   My buddies who are cops haver had run ins with him all the time.

Those, Sabbath, and old 90's gangster rap make up the bulk of my lifting songs. The older I get, the more it turns to Sludge and Doom metal. Still love Slayer, etc.... but it makes me to wired and on edge. Cardio= techno. and try to mellow out= old country, like Cash, Waylon, Coe, etc.....
