You don't think Chael has worked on his ground and pound? No way in hell anderson is avoiding that take down. Once he gets those vice grips around you he's pulling your ass down. That's Andersons biggest weakness! Imo learning how to avoid submissions is a lot easier than learning how to deal with an all american stud wressler with a double leg from hell. He has an iron chin to he can take those first two shots Silva will hit him with. See how easy Sonnen past to side guard to get that choke.

Sonnen is a nightmare for any fighter on the planet and as of late the guy seems determined, almost possessed to get the belt from Anderson. He's is wrestling blood, has a high pain tolerance and isn't afraid of anyone. Very, very dangerous fighter when he closes the distance. Regardless of the outcome, Silva is gonna get roughed up worse than last time and might even think about retirement due to the internal beating. Sonnen is the only guy I can see beating Anderson at this point, and wont be surprised at all if he does next time around.

  What you call luck, I call skill. Slip one arm or leg out of lock and the BJJ guy will submit you - just ask Fedor. Sonnen was on steroids and Silva had busted ribs the last time they fought and Silva still won anyway. Given how fast Silva is when he is at 100%, odds are that Silva will knock him out before he takes him down. And the only reason Brock beat Mir is because he outweighted him by 40 lbs. Sonnen does not have this advantage over Silva that will allow him to hold Silva down and control him that easily. Furthermore, grappling is Sonnen's weakness. He has been submitted many times before.

Sorry but they dont call Anderson Silva "The Spider" for nothing. All these fighters in his class weight try to either wrestle him or do stand up with him, and all fail. And his punches doesnt even seem to be that strong but yet lethal to their chins. I think he has excellent precision to connect his fists to their nerve system around the jaw area and put them night night to sleep.
