Lol you guys are cracking me up!

My brother posses a bit of retard strength, think in the form of a sumo wrestler.  But my bro is pretty lazy! We are trying to get him to drop some weight (specifically for his health) but that's a very difficult task for a special needs kid!  Hard to find the motivation!  He prefers staying home and playing Mortal Kombat on his psp or computer! Meanwhile downing cheesy poofs like cartman!

Oh and my bro is a getbigger, I was out at a club once and get home at about 3 am, only to find him awake in my room looking through my porn stash! He freaked out when I caught him, was pretty funny!

Thanks for the props one more rep, he's a VERY social guy, so unlike many autistic kids he does not keep to himself, if anything he tries to be the center of attention, but has trouble communicating with people sometime!  Growing up with him taught me a ton of patience though!

Now that he is older, my dad started an outreach program at his factory with a special needs school! Where kids like him can come a few times a week and work on basic tasks, to help teach them responsibility and discipline.
props to your dad for  doing that.

I am sure you purchased "your" gyms with all the money you made while being a student assistant. As well, I am sure your esteemed position as a student assistant has paid for your living expenses for the past 11 years since you've completed H.S.. Me uneducated, wouldn't say that. A Bachelors Degree and less has gotten many people far more in this world than a "phd". Bitter, no, just don't like smug nosed piss holes such as yourself. Now go back to to sucking on your mommas nipple, it's what you do best.

Wow! Cool down tough guy. It is just the internet, and ACH is standup.

my dad helps me out, but just enough to eat and live not for drugs that I have to pay for myself.

I was fired the other day from my job so he is paying my rent for me. My problem is   I can not operate machinery, I can not work as waiter even lol.  even the simplest jobs because I am too lethargic from the drugs. My boss fired me because he said I looked like a zombie.. I am very umm how do I say this.. "slow". Even when I was working in restaurant people could see that something is not right with this kid, they see I'm big so other kids  shut their mouth though lol. .now it .blows my mind how kuclo is a firefighter with that kind of chemical warfare going on

Thanks for the nice words Earl and Flinstones!

Whats it like to like having an autistic brother?  Well, you gotta understand that I don't know what its like to NOT have an autistic brother, I don't have any other siblings, so this is all I know really.

He's a great guy.  I guess the best way to describe it is; imagine a 23 year old with the mentality of an 8 year old.  He doesn't comprehend things the same way we do!  Although, from what I've read (and seen from his class-mates at school), most autistic kids tend to keep to themselves and are quite shy.  He's not like that though, he's EXTREMELY outgoing!  Thinks everyone is his best friend and wants to go up and hug them and laugh with them!  He is genuinely a happy guy, but when he was younger I think he went through a tough time and dealing with some frustrations because I think he knows that he is different from other people, and he would get frustrated because he couldn't communicate his thoughts with us the way he'd like to.

He's lucky though, because my parents were able to invest in his education, therapists, etc (as mentioned earlier), he went to one of the best schools in the East Coast for special needs children (Thats actually the main reason my family came to the US in the first place).  And the school did WONDERS with him, he really progressed during the 10 years he was there!
My heart goes out to parents who don't have the means to give their special needs children certain therapists or a special type of education, I can only imagine how hard it is.  I've personally donated and raised money for charities which help autism research, because its really another world.

I mean there are so many tasks that we all take for granted which are major hurdles for kids like him.  I'll use this as an example... the first time I ever saw him open a soda can by himself I started crying (no homo).... because it was such a milestone for him, in the past he could not just get the coordination to do it, and he would ask for help or would get soooo frustrated attempting to do it and fumbling with it, so when he finally got to the point of being able to do it - it was was a huuuge accomplishment...   I mean, its something sooo simple that we take for granted, but a huge ordeal for kids like him.

I dunno though, I feel like he will always need supervision at all times.  My mom has big dreams for him that he could one day have a very simple job like folding clothes at a laundromat or something like that, but who knows...  as I stated my father started an outreach program at our factory for kids like him, and they come do basic things like wrap some of products, or work on tasks like putting a rubber lining on a pulley, and I watched him doing it and he actually was getting the hang of it - so he surprises me a lot, I think he's smarter than a lot of people give him credit for (even I have underestimated him many times).
One issue though is he tends to get lazy, and would not even try something because its just easier for someone to do it for him, and we have to push him to try it himself, once he gets the motivation he ends up starting to be a LITTLE - Just a LITTLE independent!  Like any kid he just wants to stay home and play Video games, but we are trying to teach him some responsibility, so he feels like he has some sort of purpose in life.

Whats funny though, he just discovered Skype so he calls me and my wife all the time on it, (him and my wife get along really well which is cool!)  I'm talking like 10 calls in the course of 15 minutes!

If anyone's ever seen the movie Rain man - I think Dustin Hoffman hit the nail on the head playing a special-needs person (Although his character was much more advanced mentally than someone like my brother), and Tom Cruise playing the brother learning to deal with a special needs person was also really good acting!

As I said though!  I don't have any other siblings, so I have no way to compare it, having an autistic brother is all I know!  Growing up with him did teach me to be a VERY VERY patient person, think you have to be if you're in that situation, but I personally think he's the coolest member of our family because of how outgoing and friendly he is!

He's OBSESSED with Motorcycles, so my dad got him this 3-wheeled scooter and regulated the speed to only reach 15 mph lol  And here's a picture of us at my wedding!

So my wife and I are spending the weekend at a Disney resort with some friends, its five of us, another couple and one other guy (the husbands brother) and we go out to dinner at this other resort at Disney called Boardwalk, and they have an outside area by the water ala Atlantic City hence the name of the hotel.  So we are walking outside a few minutes before our reservation, naturally I'm wearing a tight black polo shirt, looking jacked and weighing 230  ;D and all of a sudden I hear some guy behind me yelling in a thick Jersey accent "watch where the fuck you're going!"over and over and some other shit, I turn around and there is this middle age guy getting all up in my buddys face and his trashy ass wife freaking out.
First I think they were just joking around  but then I see the other brother getting in the mix trying to diffuse the situation cause that Jersey fucker was getting more and more pissed!    Now I hate fights, but see that this can get out of hand, So I walk over and I start yelling "Take it easy!  Take it easy" to the Jersey asshole, I still wasn't that close to him but they are both still yelling at each other, then I shit you not, my buddy goes "You think you're so tough, you wanna talk shit, well lets see you talk to him!" and points to me LOL so I'm getting called out here,  so I start yelling more, "take it easy, its an accident" (not knowing what the fuck is going on) and then I see two more Jersey middle aged guys walking towards me yelling "calm down", and my wife is trying to pull me back by my arm.  Finally the trashy Jersey wife gets more aggressive and starts pulling her husband back and saying to us "I'm sorry, I'm sorry guys, its an accident"and we pull our boy back and calm him down.

What happened apparently is the Jersey guys 3 year old kid ran into my buddy, and my buddy apologized to him, but the father thought that my boy was arguing with his kid and completely lost it.

The next time you find yourself in a situation like this where you have the opportunity to diffuse things by nature of your muscles bulging through your usual tight black polo shirt, try talking calmly instead of yelling as you say you did. A calm and authoritative voice coming from a physically imposing person can be much more affective than a hostile yelling voice. IMO.

I agree 100% - my wife said the same thing.  Since then I've had it tailored to fit better!
