I stopped doing all cardio what so ever half a year ago and deep breathing techniques, and waistline has become smaller.

Look at Lance armstrong, his waist is wide but skinny, it's obviously the deep breathing from riding bike all days! it expands your lower ribs to the sides and hence the waistline. It's seems obvious people would know this, but I'm just putting it out there for people who does lots of cardio. Once you quit it will go back to your genetic normalized awesomeness again.
