That was my point, that he's about the same as Heath, but no one pings him for it. I think both of them are about the same, but Dex is shorter and has a better chest, so he doesn't look as "bad" as Phil.

PH's narrowness isn't that big a disadvantage as far as I'm concerned - he actually looks better in the mandatories than just about everyone else.

I think width is in part affected by head size.  I look narrow but I think I have more or less an average frame with a head too big for my body.

I think Ronnie is still the only bodybuilder you brought it to another level after Dorian. Not to take anything away from Jay and Phil, but Ronnie was just untouchable for a while there, especially in 2003!

You think he's wider than Phil Heath? They've always looked about the same in the Front lat spread and front relaxed poses. And yes, Shawn Ray as well.

Dexter doesnt have the huge imbalances that Phil has though, better lines. But yes he, Flex and Shawn were all narrow. Flex gets hugely overrated. He was spot on a few times 93, 96 AC. Shawn and Dex were far better career bodybuilders.

Shawn was really not a better career bodybuilder than Flex , he won 2 pro shows , Flex won 17 that's a massive discrepancy , Shawn may have been more consistent from show to show but he didn't compete as much

Dexter is close to Flex in terms of career wins etc , and he also won an Olympia which Flex never did , But Flex at his best would leave Dexter for dead at his in my opinion

Flex was in and out of shape compared to his best a lot, the same can't be said for Shawn or Dex.

It's all opinions, but i think Dex at his best would do fine against Flex. Shawn and Flex both got robbed a fair bit in regards to wins.
