i read that in the workouts he was very so/so. 

And I held a workout this afternoon in my garage and had the same number of NFL team personnel show up.  ;D

He'll land a job.

The guy can still play. At least one team will take a chance on him. It's not that he can't play anymore, it's that his durability has gotten increasingly worse over the years due to his age.
