Thank God I grew up in the 70`s......we dressed funny but we had some awesome kickass bands and songs that are timeless.

But music today is just pure garbage.....Music has been dead for at least 15 years.

That was amazing. A real guitar with no effects and real voices. I'm so use to auto tuned voices and computer engineered music. When I hear real music that's good it blows me away. I'm sure so many are used to engineered music that real good acoustic music sounds weird to them.

I don't know how so many pay 50 to 100 plus bucks for a ticket to a show and they are playing canned music while the band jumps around pretending they are playing the song. I've seen this in most big wedding bands. The voice and drums are real most of the time. Most of the songs instruments are canned from a computer track.

I agree, rap is horrible. I simply can not understand how people can listen to rap. It's a big mystery to me.

What's wrong with today's music.......

Britney Spears, featuring. Ludacris, Beeber, and Kelly Osborne.
Usher, featuring Timberlake, Timbaland, Moron 5, and Eminem
Eminem, featuring ICP, britney spears, and some rapper

"Artists" can't do songs by themselves any more? None of these acts can sell out a stadium and are not a draw. 15 years from now you won't hear about or hear from any of these "artists." They'll be long forgotten, hanging out with Chumbawumba and Kid n' Play. They've contributed nothing to the genre, just pale offensive imitations of the past. No new ideas, no great message, can't sell out stadiums, and only marginally talented even with all the studio wizardry available today.

There is good music available today, you just have to really dig to find it, unlike in the past where something great can hit the radio at any moment(followed by some trash, but eh).

Saying modern music is good is like saying McDonalds is the best restaurant, just because it has the most people going to it.
