Those were great records. "Madman Across the Water" and "Honky Chateau" as well. Things really went bad with "Blue Moves" and the rest was just straight downhill. |

when he was teamed up with Taupin was stuff was BOSS imo, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road and Madman was his best efforts and yeah, he lost it in the 80s  although i have to adimt that i did like "Little Jeannie"  |

He lost me even earlier than that. Similar to Rod Stewart somehow who fucked it up after "A Night On The Town". The seventies died in 1976.
