What you've posted here seems like a cop-out. Nothing in your original post seemed like a joke. I don't think posting inflammatory racists implied statements such as you did can later be discounted as a joke.
Incidentally, I voted for Obama because he was (IMO) the better of the two choices offered at the time. I am not African American. I am a democrat. I don't always vote along party lines. In some areas, I have been disappointed with his performance as President while in other areas, I think he has done fine. Essentially, I think he stepped into office and when the U.S. and much of the world was in a huge financial mess. To expect he could straighten things out in one term is ludicrous.
Many people treat the presidency as if the President of the United States was some kind of God or dictator who could do whatever he/she wanted to fix things. In truth, our president is like a scapegoat who is blamed for all our woes while he/she has little power or ability to change the future.
