Oh, some of the biggest MMA fighters were there, as well as a ton of other MMA referees, officials, and industry folks. It was a cool night. MMA Awards, dinner at Spagos, Playboy Club.

Took quite a few pics, and Stuntmovie is right, most of the MMA crowd was very respectful.

The event will air December 10th or 11th on Fox.

SWEDE! I knew you'd come through and start name'n names. YOUR name did come up a couple of times while talking to a couple of these fighters, so they must read this GetBig Board.

Here are some questions for ya:

Why is Doninick Cruz so damn popular? The fans went wild when he came into the room and even with his bodyguard-escort (provide by The Palms security forces) he had a hell of a time getting to the auditorium. But that was mostly due to his own fault because he was kind enough to stop and talk and take photos with everyone who wanted to talk or shot along that long route to the auditorium.

In fact he even motioned for his security escort to hold up and slow down so he could acknowledge everyone. I can now understand why he's a favorite among the fans.

What's his fight record?

"DOC" DURAN was another very polite individual who made himself available among the fans to sign stuff or have his photo taken or just shoot the shit.

DItto "Sonnen" (MC?) as he was all over the place talking to anyone who wanted to say a few words and he waited patiently while I did some camera fixen before finally getting the shot I wanted.

Gustafson was the biggest fighter in the casino and his friend in the white shirt (DOUG) is a Strength Coach to whom I emailed that photo last night and received an immediate "Thanks" back while they were sitting watching the Awards ceremony.

What's the details on the snitch story?

What did you just say? My name came up? how?

Because everyone just realised how fucking good Doninick Cruz is.. And he (acts at least) slightly cocky and backs up every damn word of it. Very exciting style also and the ammount of training Im assuming that fella needs to do to keep up his fighting style for 5 rounds has to be Insane. His record is 19-1 with his only loss coming to Urijah Faber which he beat in the rematch back in july.

Sonnen is hiliarous like No other.

Gustafsson was there sinc ehe was nominated in the European fighter of the year since he beat both te-huna och also beat matt hammil in Devastating fasion (probably retired him) and Will beat Vladimir "The Janitor" Matyushenko at the 30dec card.

But somehow Overeem won that even though he only beat Fabricio Werdum this year and no one looked impressive in that fight.

He made more friends in the Other team not his own that is. So he constantly snitched to the other team what their fighters was focusing on and training for and hoping to face etc. A real piece of shit move. So everytime I see him acting nice I cant help but top think Fake. but I dunno.
