frank warren his cousin laughs at the guvnor title- he never had even close to 1% of his claimed fight- he reckoned 3,000 warren, his cousin and promoter for all his fights claimed 15 fights of which he got beat by cliff fields, johnny waldron and roy shaw.

mclean was a bully end of story- to the bloke who worked the doors with him- the door he worked was for former british hw champ mick theo one of lenny's great brave acts was to knock shite out of a pilled up geordie, killing him- the blokes crime he stumbled into mclean- he died for that.

mclean was a crap boxer- he never fought anyone unless he had a massive size/ weight/ age advantage. ask yourself with all these so called hardmen - like the gypo's - quinns, joyces etc why they never got in the ring and earned the dough. I'll tell you why- because even a journeyman pro would eat them alive.

I used to do some doorwork with trevor currie- 'hughroy' a former british HW champ- he used to level them left right and centre but was a fair man and no bully- he would have levelled mclean without breaking sweat- he did however used to spar with bruno etc and said the difference between a pub fighter and a top pro is painfully different.

you want to talk truly hard doormen in the UK go for frankie brennan, gary spiers, gary sandland in liverpool for staters- all would have levelled mclean all day every day

He went back home before he could fight the real glasgow big boys who were lined up for him.

One objection sir. The addict that you say McLean "killed". Didn't the results in the Crown Court where McLean was tried show that the addict had a broken jaw (which McLean admitted to giving him) but also that his

There's still women out there that want their men to be MEN and for them to be their WOMAN. I'm seeing such a girl at the moment and it looks like this one might stick for a while.
